I went to buy tickets for tonight's show and your website says that they are no longer available. Are you sold out?

We stop all advance sales at 10 pm the before the show. This gives us time to compile the will call list. Tickets are still available at the door. Shows that are sold out will say so on the website.

What does Sold Out mean?

Sold Out means that there are no more tickets available for purchase. We frequently sell out our concerts, so it is always best to prepurchase your tickets via the internet or at the venue. We do not oversell our available seats.

What time should I get there to get a good place to see the performance?

There is no bad place to see a performance at Steel City. At least that's the idea. But doors open 1 hour prior to the posted start time of the show.

You can purchase them in person at Steel City.

Do you take credit cards at the door?

Generally, we take cash at the door, however, we can take credit cards at the register on the night of the show. Simply tell the door person you are paying with a credit card, they will direct you to the register, you then return and show the door person the receipt.

I bought tickets when do I get them?

As is listed on the website, there are no physical tickets at Steel City Coffee House, nothing will be mailed to you. Your name is at the door when you arrive.

Why is there a shipping fee if the tickets are at the Will Call window?
|

Good question, we get that one alot. The "shipping" fee, is actually a $1.00 Internet Service Fee. We charge a $1.00 per ticket Internet Service Fee to help us cover the cost of maintaining a ticket selling website and cover the credit card processing fees. Our shopping cart server, Yahoo, offers standard labels, like "shipping" that cannot be altered. If we were to go with Ticketmaster or other agencies, the service charge would be more like 15-20% of the ticket price. Feel free to compare our $1.00 Internet service Fee with other like venues, you will find that other venues charge much higher per ticket fees. If you purchase the ticket at the door or at the venue, you will not be charge an internet service fee.

How do I (or my band) get booked at Steel City Coffe House?

Artists looking to get booked at Steel City Coffee House should refer to our booking information page on this website. Please do not send CD's or press kits to the venue, as we no longer accept physical press kits. Follow the instructions under the booking information section. Please do not call the venue reguarding booking.

Why is there an advance price and a DOS ( day of show) price? |

We have a cheaper advance price to encourage people to prepurchase thier tickets. This allows us to predict the attendance and properly set up the room and staff the venue for each concert. In addition, it helps us to notify customers when the shows are getting close to full so they can get a ticket before it is sold out. |

Do you rent Steel City Coffee House? |

YES, we do have rentals. Typically we rent Sunday or Monday evenings, but if the circumstances are right, we will rent on other evenings. Please see the rental information area on this webpage. |
